Bleh, Audrey – I had no idea you had sleep issues too! No matter what I do, it’s impossible to FALL asleep. I used to be able to sleep all day long – now I can go a week without any sleep (so unhealthy)! Night time yoga has helped… unfortunately, after months of a max of 1 hour of sleep per night (and with Nick insisting I go), I had to resort to a doc for recommendations of treatment . Boo.
I hope you figure your sleep issues out… have you tried Kava tea? That helps a lot with relaxation, just didn’t really produce “drowsiness” for me. If you ever want to go to yoga, let me know! 🙂
I’ll get in touch with you about the yoga, I need to do more! My sleep problems definitely aren’t as bad as yours, just an extremely restless mind when I hit the pillow. A big help has been to cut back on looking at screens–computer, iPhone, etc. within a minimum of 30 minutes before bed. I’ll look into Kava tea!
Really great infographic! I love sleep, and usually fall asleep quite quickly and sleep deeply. However, during the months of Sept-April (when I have classes), I can definitely feel the effects of sleep deprivation. It’s not fun.
Crazy! And relevant. Can’t fall asleep well lately and trying to reform some pre-bed activities to help!

Sounds good! Putting those electronics away is key… so much easier said than done for me though! haha
This is all so true, I agree here! 🙂

Oh I remember those days! I’m sure over-night study sessions don’t help either! 😦
