This is an interesting infographic about the Americans’ attitudes toward food. Looks like it’s time to make some changes.
Being in Australia it’s interesting to read on the differences between US laws and ours. One of the best things about my local area are the community gardens in schools and even some shopping centres near by. I agree that more money needs be spent on the future generation and nurturing their future food needs!
We have a balcony at home on which we grow various herbs, lettuce, tomatoes & strawberries. Luckily for our sunny Sydney weather, (even in winter) I have tomatoes coming through and strawberries. I appreciate how hard my (tiny meager) crops have to survive an urban winter to grow, do my appreciation of food for the masses is tenfold in this 🙂
Super interesting post. Really make syou think about how people make their food choices. Thanks so much!
Yeah, it REALLY grabbed my attention when I first saw it.

I completely agree. I’m in the process of starting a little garden myself!
Kind of surprising how little people know about food when we have so many resources today.
That’s really cool!!! 🙂 I totally agree that your food choices make a statement!
